Warlords won't start

Hi,

I just got warlords for my birthday, installed it with no problems but it won't start at all!

Civ 4 (1.6.1) worked fine previously but this will not start and I get no information. No error message, no log file nothing.

I have updated my display drivers, removed and reinstalled it but get the same problem. my PC exceeds the recommended requirements at all levels. Any ideas?

I have never had this problem before with any game, in fact CIV4 was the only game that I have ever had problems with since I bought this PC.

possible cause: copy protection. retry several times, sometimes this can help. try modified executables. check if there's a firmware update for your DVD drive.

you need to enable logging to get log files: http://www.2kgames.com/civ4/support_logging.htm. but you need to do this in Warlords folder, not civ4 folder. It is possible that your ini file is blank or non-existent, create such file with the only line "LoggingEnabled=1". Post the init.log
