This forum is dwindling in activity and participating members.

It appears that there are very few people posting here. Where has everybody gone?

It might be due to the game being just started, and it is too slow at the moment.

I think we should Ask TF if we can put a link to the MSDG under the Civ3 links, or have our team advertised on the main page with a news article.

I agree, or put the link of the Sign up sheat in our Sigs that says "sign up for the CFC Team of the Multisite Demogame"

We currently have 36 people with access to the High Council forum, which is essentially the same as membership in our team.

I do not think that the low post count is due to lack of advertising, but rather a general drop off in participation in the demogame concept. Take a look at the Civ3 demogame forums. There are hardly any new threads there, and there seem to be more posts in the instruction threads than in the discussion threads. And don't expect to find any official polls either.

I think we should take this opportunity to get our house in order, so to speak. The rigidity of the SP demogame obviously won't work here as we do not precisely know when we will be playing our turn and we cannot afford to delay a chat due to lack of instructions. We need to finalize our laws and procedures and document them so that those who follow will be able to do so effectively.

My problem with the demogame setting is that it feels too fake and isn't consistent enough. A lot of it seems to be neat ideas, but doesn't draw in to commit to the game. It feels like milking in civ3 without the score.

I guess that we are all so involved in other matters at the moment to participate in the SP demogame, and the MP demogame is a bit of a sleeper right now.

But a demogame news page would be great!

On a spur of the moment idea, how about somebody start up a demogame.com like website, which follows all the major demogames from Civ1, 2, and 3? Now that would be good.

It looks nice, Oct. But there are *a few* problems: The Civ 3 demogame 2 isn't listed anywhere, even if we're in term 7, near 8.

The C3 demogame 1 page is definitely a must, but there is a bug: many links are going to a page with linkname.html written on it, with nothing else.

If somebody creates a C3 MSCG page and is willing to keep it updated, the nation should be proud of posting that link to the other teams and various sites.

But would that page need secure areas or should we just post "official" information there?
