Hi. I installed FFH2 a few months ago, and it ran well the whole time. I installed 3.19 and it stopped working, so i've been waiting for the new FFH (b) patch. I just downloaded it and it installed (except for the could not find error at the beginning). I started it up with the shortcut and tried starting the RoW scenario. It started fine, but all my units had their arms sticking out and weren't animating (and no frozen animations wasn't on, I checked). Also there were no action buttons for my units, although I could still move them (but they just slid, didn't animate when they moved). I tried starting a regular game as CoE and it also started up, but my units were still frozen, and even more strangely there was a HUGE building, occupying like 6 squares, that looked like a partially animated barn, and a few smaller buildings (some of them on ocean squares) that looked similar. I quit, installed the patch again, started BtS up, and THEN loaded FFH. I started a game as Amurites, and I got the same thing as before, but no buildings and I had action buttons for my units. There may be other things wrong as well, I only played a few turns (btw the settlers animations weren't frozen after the 2nd startup, I'm not sure if they animated during the first setup, I didn't check.)

Edit: Also, the city screen doesn't display, it just zooms in.

I suggest that you delete your "Fall from Heaven 2" folder and the installers you used, and redownload & reinstall 0.41 + patch B. Perhaps that will correct the problem.

For some reason the folder won't delete because "Access is denied", and I'm an Admin so that's not the problem.

Edit: For some reason my computer thought the game was still running, so I restarted the computer, then deleted the file. I reinstalled the game and the patch and it seems to be running fine. Also, I didn't get the message saying that the game couldn't be founded at the beginning of the install.
Thanks!:goodjob:
