Since I first entered the Civilization Fanatics Forum, I’ve been amazed with the quality of the posts and the obvious intelligence and culture of many posters.

So, I decided to honor some of the most interesting ones I’ve seen. This is a bit unfair, since others were deserving as well, but I managed to select two:

First of all, a post by “The Troquelet” in a OT thread called “shocking religious statistics". Despite a little aggressive in the tone, his reasoning is, in my opinion, flawless. Here is the link.

Another that called my attention is a Richard III’s post in a “History Forum” thread called “Were the Germany average citzens bad guys in 1941?” Just see the link, it’s simplicity personified, and, IMHO, far more satisfying than the long explanations done before.

My question to you guys is, what are the posts you have seen in this forum that called your attention due to their enlightenment, clarity and relevance?

regards :).

All of my posts ;)

Just kidding.

I can't reduce it to single posts. I don't have any records about it.
But I have had quite alot of excellent discussions with different people here. As I don't want to pick out anyone, this gives me the opportunity to say one of the stupidest sayings of all:
You know who you are ;)

there was a post on massive pop rush, that's the best one i've seen.

with no doubt: aoa's post after 9/11.

I re-read some of those 9-11 posts...interesting how vocal some people were against invading Afghanistan. I don't hear that same vocal opposition now.

well, afghanistan is already invaded and the talibans overthroned.

You may have misinterpreted. I mean that, they aren't critical of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan now that it is a "success" (in the best way possible.)

start a new thread about it then. we should not thread-jack this one.

defensor's was the best for me, really funny sh*t, but annoying after a while

rmsharpe, they probably aren't as critical now because for about a month, it hadn't been proven that Osama Bin Laden was behind the whole thing, just alluded to...

I love the strategy posts by some of the amazing players who play, research, test, and document what they do. Although they're a little out of fassion, I loved the ME threads where the people living there share what's really happening with the rest of the world. I love every thread where people from 10 different countries post, and you can follow the time zones around the world. Basically, anything that makes the world a little smaller and bigger at the same time.

Darkshade's Tea with Beeluzbud.

(I'm not one of his cronies)
(but credit is given, where credit is due.)

Enemy ace has fired off a few
memorable ones too.

Regardless....

You don't destroy an entire country because a guy lives there.

What if someone wanted to kill you? Instead of putting a bullet in your head....they nuke your home city?

IT'S OVERKILL!

Regardless of the positive outcome. The Ends don't justify the Means. This is like Primary school logic here people!!!

And for best post.....

This one. :p
