Garlic Beef

Sesame Chicken

Any Steak, served with fries, cooked medium rare, with mushroom gravy. (#1 on list)

Beef or Meatball Stroganoff

Chicken breast smothered in broccoli and cheese sauce, served with a side of rice pilaf and mixed vegetables

Chili so hot it makes children cry and old people gasp and reach for an antacid even though they have no intention of eating one spoonful.

Thanksgiving style turkey dinner with all the timmings: Roasted turkey with stuffing baked inside it, mashed potatoes, gravy, two vegetables (one of which must be corn, its a federal statute, the other must be squash), cranberry sauce (w/o berries), yams if you're into that sort of thing, and for desert, pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage. PMS pizza to the inelegant.

Lasagna, made properly, with at leat three kinds of meat, and four types of cheese.

Jambalaya and bourbon chicken.


Although it probably goes without saying, I am overweight.

Spaghetti, parmesan cheese, tomato sauce, maybe with meat sauce


Don't really like world cuisine, as such. Prefer my stuff. So sorry if too much of this is basic British/ Aussie.
There is one Swedish dish in there.

Of course, there is always:
"Lobster thermador ecrovets with a bournaise sause, served in the purple salm Mr. Bunor with chalots and overshies, garnished with truffle pate, brandy, a fried egg on top and spam."

As for what is Janssens Temptation, its a Swedish dish with sliced potato-things, onion and anchovies, that is somehow cooked.

Jalapenos (on pizza, in soup, on their own, they're kinda like my hot sauce)

1. Big Thick BBQ Steak......dripping...none of this well-done rubbish! :lol:

2. NZ Mussels in Vinegar Marinade....raw

3. Bacon and egg and tomatoe/lettuce samwiche

4. Good ole' greasy Fish and Chips (always the best for a hangover!)

5. Cheese and tomatoe toasties

6. Sweet and Sour Pork on Fried Rice

7. Good old Maori Boil-up!! (leftover meat and veges and anything else in the fridge chucked in a BIG pot and bolied!!)

8. Dumplings chucked in with the Boil-up!! (those flour bread thingys)

9. Greasy fryups of potatoes/meat/tomatoes etc!

10. Lastly.... NZ Bluff Oysters!
