Warring against Spain I popped a leader, and popped a leader. Well, I accidentially sent the leader in a J command with the rest of my army to attack thier city. He was apparently sucessful, whatever he did, since I got a message that said he "sucessfully..." I didn't get a chance to read the rest of it. So what did he do?

Thanks!

Anyone try attacking with a leader ever? I can't be the only one...btw this is a Military Leader, not an Army or a Sci leader.

Maybe I am...if so I guess I will have to recreate this till I figure it out.

If you have preserve random seed on, you could open that save back up and try it again. Of course, you'd have to repeat the actions you did before the leader took that square (or whatever it was it did). That could be a pain if that was the 50th or so action that happened....

You should have gotten a "noncombat units may not attack" text. That is what I remember from the last time I pulled that "J" manuever with a MGL in the stack.

did you have any bombardment units? if you did it my say : attack was successful, unit/ building -injured/destroyed or something to that extent

It said SOMETHING like that...I think I will have to edit a game and try to grab a screenshot of it.

Heh. Made up a test game with with about 5 leaders...nothing. Maybe I did something wrong. Heh, I will have to see what I did wrong.
