What is the differents between versions?

Hi everyone.

I got a really bad computer so when i started civ V for the first time (on version 10&11), ALL video qualitys where in Low or minimum. The leaders didn't moved and the fog of war where black ect. When i had played civ for a couble of weeks, i found out how to change the quality and did it. When i then started a save game (or a new) the game lagged and my computer closed the game. Then i started version 9 and maked the qality's on hight. Now it works and i'll ask you about there is any differents between version 9 and 10&11.

It's just some graphics things. Direct X 11 has more options, but not really necesary. If your graphics card doesn't support DirectX 11 it's not a problem to run it on 9 if you are having much better peformance.

Agreed, on my previous computer, I used DirectX9 since it was fairly old.

But i still need to set 3 quality's on hight, and the "hight quality strategic wiew". Do you think it's safe, or will my computer begin lagging again?

Only thing I can say is try it and see.

If it lags, just lower it back.

Also, if the lagging is mostly between turns while its showing you the AI moving its units near you & your city states (especially late in the game), switch to strategic view right before ending the turn.
