What order do we do techs in?

Hi please post your proposed tech routes here as they will hopefully provide a picture of where people want to go. Everything I have read so far as been a bit confusing to see what most people want to do after the next tech.

Animal Husbandry - Pottery - Writing - Alphabet

I was hoping this type of discussion would take place in the general strategy thread. How can we decide a tech queue if we do not even know our early strategy?
