What the heck is *wrong* with this editor!?

I was trying to make a mod w/ Austria in it. Since Austria needs its unique unit the Hussar, I tried to edit the units, but to no avail. There just simply isn't a tab for units!! And when I try to select it from the rules menu, or the little Edit: pulldown menu, it just selects citizens. For every single scenario I looked at, whether it was pre-maid or just a new file, I could not look at units. I even tried reinstalling Conquests.
I also noticed this happens w/ Civilizations too if I select it from either pull-down menu, but luckily I can select something else from either pull-down menu and it will appear. No such luck for Units.
It didn't use to do this!! What can I do?

Thats odd. Unit editor works for me.

Me too, you may need to reinstall.

He already has. Might be a problem with the Cd but I might be wrong.

I have had this problem routinely. I'll click on a tab and the tab closes, and it displays a broken (as in some of the options) Citizen screen. It will continue closing tabs when I press on them until I only have 3 left.

But then it works fine sometimes. Like everything on my computer.
