What version should I download?

I see many threads with lots of different downloads but I don't know which version is the latest stable one intended to be played for fun.

4.05 is the only working one. Fun, despite some smallish bug like missing icons texts

While reading the wiki I clicked on one of the units (I think it was UV something) and the game got an error because of a missing image.

While the mod looks cool, it's too blatantly unfinished for my taste. I think I will just wait for a more polished version.
