I got my copy from my friend but I don't know where he did get it.
Was it too much to scroll down the page because there are many questions on this same topic... you can see them with a lock on icon

I bought my copy of Civ 1 in a combo pack from Office Max last year, called the Explorers. It included Civ 1 as well as Colonization, both the DOS and Windows versions of each.

You know... I thought I'd leave this thread a little while to prove once again that the majority of posters here are sane, sensible and above all honorable. It was a risk but thanks guys for proving me right!

It really amazes me how so many people don't read before they write. Are these the same kind of people who talk before they listen? I sometimes wonder that the reason for having two ears and one mouth is that we should listen twice as much as we speak.

Anyway - enough of pontificating. You're right, it's time this thread was closed.
