Where do you spend more time?

I wanted to know... where do you spend more time, playing Civ or on the Civ forum. For me it's hard. I go here everyday for about half an hour. But than I'll have 6-hour late night Civ marathons. I'd have to say playing Civ itself.

Im trying to get off the forum but its good to get a break from the game. no win no lose situation. Bring on real life.

I like a nice balance between the two.. I have to say, though, that I probalby spend more time on the forums when I'm on the run (in a computer lab, at my parent's house, on a friend's computer...), but when I'm on my computer I try to play.

Here's my pattern:

Monday - Friday

- Get home from work.....go check Civ4 Forum, then check GalCiv2 forums
- Eat....Check Civ4/GalCiv2 forums
- If my game partners are online.....Play Civ4 MP..... Then Check Forums afterwords.
- If no ones online.....Play GalCiv2.....Then check forums.
- Then Sleep and do it all over again.

Weekends same as above just longer sessions of each.....

I like the forums, if nothing else it's fun to see how other people are relating to the game. It's funny to read about people talking about the AI leaders like they really existed.

I only play about once a week, so most of the time I'm on the forums. Though if I calculated the hours between the two, it's probably about even. When I am playing, I usually play for about 10-12 hours straight.

Unfortunetly, I spend the more in the forum and with modding. And next month i have an exam (hopefully), so my current game will take some time...

Mine is slightly different. I go to work and check the Civ4 forum and when I'm at home I play or do other stuff. I'm browsing these forums more than I play

I haven't played in over 2 months yet I pop in here often. Very good game, works (if you smack it several times), but haven't felt the urge. Too preoccupied with real life stresses.

I used to play more but all the AI leaders have been so mean to me that I just can't decide who to be or who to include and exclude from my next game. My breaking point came when Bismark, who has always been my buddy before, sneak attacked me in my last game! If you can't trust Bismark, who can you trust? I just need to whine for a few more days before I can face those meanies again. Don't they know that we have feelings too?

I can access the civ forums from work but can't really play the game while at work, so the forums would be my answer.
