Where is the Espionage?

Hi all,

I love Shadow so far, however, why is there currently no implementation of the BtS Espionage feature whatsoever? Some "spy" type units and gameplay options would be cool.

Also, is there a way to get the Powergraph readings for other Civs without Espionage being in the game?

Only to save, retire and then reload.

If you're a Council of Esus follower, you can use your Shadows as spies to cause mayhem... but you need Open Borders. They do espionage missions as spells.

For passive espionage (i.e. seeing cities, current production jobs, current research and graphs), the standing suggestion is to mod in something to give espionage points. I'm no modder, so I can't tell you how to do that, but have a search on the forum as it's come up before.

I imagine if this is MP you will all need to be playing with same modded config.

Here was Kael's answer to that question:

No plans to add the espionage system as it is in BtS. Some espionage features may be linked to religions/wonders but in general I would like to get base information graphs back open to everyone.
