Where is the text XML for the vanilla civs traits?

I made a fairly basic but wide-reaching XML mod where I modified a whole bunch of civilizations' traits, mostly to make them more historically inspired and primarily for use with my friends in multiplayer. I've thus been modifying the descriptions of those traits accordingly, but for some reason, I have not been able to find the text XML that contains the vanilla trait descriptions. All the others were very easy to find, it's just the vanilla civs that do not appear in CIV5GameTextInfos_Traits_Inherited_Expansion2, and CIV5GameTextInfos_Traits__Expansion2, CIV5GameTextInfos_Traits_Expansion
that I could not find. I checked the vanilla xml text folder but found nothing, and I checked all the text description files labeled "trait".

Could an experienced modder tell me where the descriptions are, so that I may edit them?

They're in the "New Text" folder and in the document titled, "CIV5GameTextInfos_Jon". Just search for "trait" and you'll find them.

Thank you very much! I have one more less pressing question, however. Why are some of the text files labeled "Jon"? Is it coding slang?

No, it's the name of the coder.
Yeah, for Jon Shafer (Sheafer, Shaffer, Sheaffer ?) the original lead designer for CIV5 Vanilla. For even more fun, see all the "Jons" to be found here: http://modiki.civfanatics.com/index.php/Player_(Civ5_Type)

If you are from the US, the usage is even more interesting because a "john" (jon) is slang for a toilet (among other things best left unmentioned to avoid forum-rules family-friendly-violations)
