I think BTS is great, and it really make me want more; so is there a thread where you give ideas that could be implemented in CIV V?:)

Yes, there is a whole forum for it. Go into the "Civ 4 General Discussions" section and then there is a forum for "Ideas and Suggestions" with various threads about Civ 5.

Jesus christ .. You people are nuts, nevermind silly Civ V! You've got a brilliant game with a brilliant engine right infront of you, I'd much rather see another expansion pack in 6 months or so!

This is Civilization, and it's not EA who distributes it, so let's not hope for a new game every year ... -.-

But this is the second expansion for Civ IV, Schoszarzek. There is a large precedent that there will be a sequel. While expansions do not cost as much to make, they suffer from decreasing sales the longer the chain of expansions goes (the second expansion sells less than the first, the third less than the second, etc.) as only fans of the previous expansion buy the next.

Fans > World

No? :)

I just think this is the best civ by far, I'd like to hang onto this for awhile before taking on civ v, although it's quite old now civ still seems somewhat new to me, graphics aren't outdated, engine is great, it just works fine. If you work at EA sure you wana make money, but I'm hoping Sid Meier and the gang actually prefers playability and their broad fanbase rather than just releasing another sequel, which I think they do by looking at the contents in BTS. Clearly by releasing mods with the pack they want to encourage more of us to mod and to play mods, thus making the lifespan on the game longer.

Precisely it is because BTS has really renewed my adiction to CIVILIZATION that I want it to be even better, that does not mean that I want a CIV V next year, the other way, the longer it takes to them, the better it will be. It is things like the new "fort" capabilities, that many fans have been asking so long (channels) that make me see that Firaxis is listening; and CIV still has a great potential to be even better. :D

It's never too early to start getting the ideas out there. Some of the ideas could even inspire modders work them into mods... or developers to work them into future expansions.

Sid (and the other stakeholders) sold Firaxis to Take2 a little while ago. They want (dare I say need) to make money.

BTS isn't out a week, and you guys are already talking about Civ5! Good grief, let Sid and Co. rest on their laurels a bit before chaining them back to their desks!
