I've learned HTML CSS,javascript, and a wee bit of python and C++. In order for me to become the greatest programmer of all time ( ), where do you guys think I should go?

What do you mean by "go"?

1. Go to a company for a jo.
2. Go to learn more (tech school?).
3. Go to college (e.g., MIT?).
4. Go for you next language to leanr (e.g, Visual C++?)

More verbage, please, and I'll tell you where to go! (LOL, couldn't resist that one ;) ).

Go to Microsoft! They are taking you wherever you want. ;)

"Where do you want to go today? " is a TM of Microsoft company. :crazyeye:

You'll need more than a "wee bit" of C++ to be succesful. GO to the library and get a book on Vis C++ then GO to the store and buy vis C++. Then go to your computer and learn :)

Then make a webpage advertising yourself using some of those CSS effects in it :) Maybe a little JavaScripting in there too.

IMHO - in my humble opinion

just to add to what I said above, if you don't want to do php then get a db anyways...try asp and msaccess though they are highly insuperiar (sp??) to php and mySQL. you'll have to either get a host that support MySQL and php or install them on your own computer if you want to use them though.

Oh yeah, you know a server that can support php and cgi? At the moment I have angelfire. Plus, do you know any other languages that can be used for programming on the comp, not the internet?

fephisto -- LEAVE ANGELFIRE..... That's all I can say.

netfirms.com is a good choice and they do support cgi(never checked for php) You have a pretty good storage space over there and there are tons of other guidelines.

Oh yeah, w3c guidlines suck! Forget about them :p

If it works, don't break it!
