ren and stimpy are on the list because they were the first, and probabably the last, to say "crap" on nickelodean. alot is owed to that show because you wouldn't have shows like spongebob squarepants (which is the worst show EVER made and the creator should be shot) without it.

my vote goes to dexters lab. although i was a huge fan of duckman, dexters lab still makes me giggle like a little school girl. "oooooooo.... button...."

the simpsons are not on the list because then it would be a no contest. so don't bi+ch about it.
 
i've only seen r&s and b&b and i'm not sure which one i should choose.

that was a part of animaniacs and animaniacs wasn't adult humor at all. just a bunch of silliness thrown into three 6 minute skits. ren and stimpy was like that too, but had alot of hidden jokes that kids would not understand, and is why it ran on mtv for a bit.

Out of the choices, Beavis and Butthead.
 
Out of that lot, only ever seen, or even heard of, Ren & Stimpy, and that was a long time ago.
 
Yes, heard of only Ren & Stimpy and Beavis & Butthead, and am enamoured of neither.
 
The Tick was absolute genius. They tried to make it a kids show, airing it on saturday mornings, and it only lasted 3 seasons. P & the B was great too.

Duckman, Ren and Stimpy, and the Critic (very underrated) were all good.

Pinky and The Brain did indeed get its own half hour show as a spinoff of Animaniacs. Both these shows, and Tiny Toons before it, stretch the boundary between kid and adult shows, imo. I consider them to be children's shows with substantial adult humour thrown in. Looney Toons was the same way in its time, but not as much so.

My vote for the best adult cartoon of the 90s would be The Family Guy.
 
I only know Dexter and Beavis & Butthead, of which I find Dexter better. But I sure one of the others are much better, so I'd better not vote. ;)
 
Out of those, Beavis and Butt-head. Else it would be South Park.

ANd in fairness' name, I haven't even seen all of those. :p
 
I voted Ren & Stimpy, but in retrospect, I think Duckman had me in stitches more.

My current favorite is the Birdman Lawyer one (still not sure what the name of it is).
"The lives of these two young men depends on my performance in the courtroom tomorrow morning!"
"Another drink, sir?"
"YEAH! Let's get stinky!"

Ren and Stimpy was absolute genius (although absolutely disgusting at times, too)

Beavis and Butthead for the most part was hillarious.
