Why a world war against me?

Something quite strange happened in this game. Or, at least, it's strange for ME, I've never seen such a thing.

Isabella is the monster power of this game, with me as a distant second aiming for space, even if still far far away (Apollo program still to be completed).

At some time, Darius declares on me, and I seek help from Isabella.
The next turn, the ENTIRE WORLD declares war against me, even the smallest and weakest empires!!!

Can someone explain me?

Are they afraid I'm going to win?? They shouldn't, I'm just number TWO in the world, and still need A LOT of time.
Isabella should be the trouble of everyone else, not me.

hopefully the new patch will fix some of the insidious war declarations, but if the other countries like her more than they like you it explains it.

From the strongest to the weakest and hopeless, even someone stuck in the middle ages with me with armors. Even Isabella, that I just bribed to HELP me in the war.

Wel did you start a lot of wars? did you atacked a city state? Did you denounce a few people? Maybe they are all friends so check diplomacy

Because they don't like you I would imagine.

I denunced who denounced me.
And about city states, I only attacked and conquered one of them. Although I must admit that, after this single event, every other civ starts hating me.

It's a gang mentality. If one person doesn't like you, their friends won't like you. If their friends don't like you, their friends' friends won't like you. Suddenly you're the least popular kid on the playground. At that point, it's much easier to convince everyone else to attack you.

its a know issue that the diplo is borken in this game.
