Why can't I research the last 4 technologies?

I have been trying to find this out for a long time now. I have made it to the information age, but it doesn't give me the option of upgrading to global prosperity or any of the last 4 technologies. Please help me.

What type of game are you playing? Are you in an ordinary single player random map or are you doing a CTW map?

Barring a scenario/campaign, there are two possibilities:
1) The tech cap is Early Information Age, thus leaving the four 'supertechs' out, or
2) One or more military, economic, social or scientific library technologies remain unresearched. You must discover them ALL in order to access the supertechs.

I would agree with Thorvald, as I haven't played RoN for a very long time. But my hatred of missile shields is alive and well.

Yeah, I hated it too, as well as AI, cause the game disintegrates into two players instantly building giant armies destroying them, then building them again in 5 seconds.
