Why is JUST ONE MORE TURN grayed out!?

So the game ends and I have no option to go on? What?

Actually, it's somewhat an accurate, ironic, comment on how I feel lately regarding this game, but why in the hell is that button grayed out?

How'd you win? It was there for my cultural victory.

If you won by time, it might be greyed out.

time. but then that would especially be fun to continue from, no?

For some reason, I think when the game means a Time victory ends at 2050 AD, it means it. I typically turn off Time victory, anyway.

When you set up a game, you have a checkbox in the advanced setup that allows you to keep playing after 2050AD. I guess it is unchecked by default.
