Yeah, I don't know Chinese to help out with learning the history... (Sadly, none of my foreign languages are strong enough to go reading textbooks.)

And unfortunately, all my knowledge of Chinese history is from a college class 7 or 8 years ago, and I haven't really looked at my books since then.
