Wierd graphics..

I am playing civ IV and after doing many things to finally getting it to run,
it starts out fine. After a few rounds, specially when I meet another
civilization the fog of war gets wierd and some borders become opaque
walls running to the sky. Sometimes the trees become black and it
becomes difficult and awry to play. Please help me. I've been dying to
play the game eversince I heard of it. Now that I have it and done everything
to get it to work.. and now that its working i cant play it cause it screws
up.

I suspect this is the problem,
Driver Version: 6.13.0010.2720 (English)
Driver Date: 1/15/2002

This driver is 4 years old, grab the update (81.98) from http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.98.html. I suspect it can't support DX9 hence all the graphic oddities.

Looking further at your log, another 512mb RAM will help no end too. But I also wouldn't be too surprised if you find yourself struggling with that video card since it only has 64mb of video RAM. Should be ok with small or duel worlds I think. But there are some workarounds to reduce the load on the system on these forums. But I think it would be better in the long run if you upgrade the card too.
