Windows 7 - where the heck are my program files?

Kind of an odd question, and I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

Anyway, I just installed Civ IV on my shiny new Windows 7 64-bit laptop. It runs great, with one small problem: I'm trying to find the game's program files, but they just don't seem to be there. Can't find 'em in the main Program Files directory, and a search for "Firaxis" or "Civilization" turns up nothing. I currently have no idea what the issue is - halp!

(disclaimer: it's probably due to a simple stupid mistake on my part)

Welcome to CFC! :band:

As default the disc versions will go into Program Files (x86). However if you have a downloaded version it will go elsewhere eg: Steam installs it under steam apps.

It may however stuck it under your users folder in something like "Users\<Logon Name>\AppData\Roaming\..." where <Logon Name> is your login on the PC. AppData is a hidden folder so you will have to make sure that you have got windows explorer to show hidden files or folders or you will not find it.

civilizaton4.exe is the program file if you need to search for it which may be the quickest way, making sure your search includes hidden folders.
