I installed xp 64-bit, went to play bts and windows shut it down, since then I can not play bts, says to stick the cd in the cd-rom drive. Of course the disk is in there but for some reason it doesnt see it. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I run as admin and tried the compatability, even had a programmer look at it and he doesnt know. Help....lol

Disk version, sorry I should have said something of that in my first post, and yes it is updated, it may be my comp and this 64-bit just dont get along, I for sure am not impressed and am seriously thinking of going back to 32-bit just for this game and one other....lol

The 3.19 patch removes the copy protection from BTS, so if it is sucessfully patched it would not be asking for the CD.

Did you patch with the in-game updater? That is notorious for saying it has patched when it has actually done nothing. Try downloading the patch from here and running it outside of the game. Make sure you are using an administrator account.

Must of had a bad patch, I redl'd it from your link and rewrote it and I am playing BTS. Not sure what it was, but, after overwriting the patch I am good to go. Thanks for the help I so missed this game.
