Windows XP .bat problem

I've recently upgraded to XP, and I just found that when I try and use a .bat file to change parts in a scenario, the ms-dos window comes up for about half a second and then dissapears before I can select an option. This is not a problem with a specific file but all .bat files. Anyone know how to fix this, is there an option someware that needs to be ticked or something?

yes put choice.com in:

a) The scenario directory for a short-term solution

OR

b) The window's system32 directory to solve the problem forever

Are you sure? Have you tried reversing it? I've found that while installing this file makes the program actually function, it still doesn't work as designed and screws up the files, especially after more than one use.

Well that would be the scenario designer's fault.

if u put Choice in thesingle scenario folder it just works for that scenario, forever, but if u put it in the window's system32 directory it works for everythign forever.

I've just tested it to make sure techumseh and it worked fine
