In my current game as germany, I saw that Rome had built the Moai statues [because I could see the hammers on the water tiles around it]. This is on the 3000BC start and the great empire had been conquered by the barbarians, who held Mediolanum and Rome. So eventually I moved to conquer it (quite late though, the barbarians remained unmolested by the other civs until I made my move in the 1600's). So anyways I took the city, and the statues had mysteriously disappeared... The colloseum stayed though. So what's up with that? I thought wonders weren't supposed to be cleared on conquest and aren't the Moai Statues a world wonder in Rhye's?

The Moai Statues are National Wonders and not World Wonders. Do you know the difference or should I explain more?

I think what he's getting at is that both the Moai and Colosseum were adapted by Rhye from BTS as only 1-off world wonders. Why is it, then, that the Moai disappear (as they should if it's a national wonder), but the Colosseum doesn't, and in fact you inherit the culture from the Colosseum as if you built it yourself as a world wonder? I think Rhye should allow the Moai to stay, but eliminate the culture "captured" from the Colosseum, because he's using both as WORLD wonders and you certainly didn't build it yourself when you capture them, and when you capture any other world wonder, you don't get the culture.

You don't get culture from captured wonders? I'm sure I still get an extra x culture per turn depending on what wonder I take.

Wait it a minute, what did you fix? The free culture bug (which should be fixed), or the wonder destruction bug (which also should be fixed)?

The funny thing here is that I'd noticed that the Moai Statues disappear after they get conquered for months...and I always thought it was a feature not a bug.
