I tried to change the Map size in worldbuilder but I can only select Huge, but it doesn't tell me the hex X hex tile
exactly, and the when I play the Map, it shows up as 'Normal' size...

What prevents us to make a 6400x6400 tiles map???
Is there a mod to increase the map size limit for worldbuilder???

The above thread explores this issue, but I'm also curious if there's been anything done about the RAM limit in the 15 years since it went quiet.
I still love Civ 4 the best and I agree the maps need to be larger. Much larger. Currently working on a map that would have 1 square per degree of latitude & longitude, so 360x140 (the cylindrical / spherical maps seem to clip out at about 70 degrees North or South of the equator when you zoom out to the max distance).
Ideally, I'd double that in both directions making a 720x280 map, but 201600 tiles is insane. Even 50400 is crazy.

Vectorize mod?

Devs are 100% still restricted by the publisher "Streamlined" approach so the slowest Bus will drive everyone down with them.
In this case the slowest Bus is the Switch with its 1Gb Vram and 4Gb Ram, exactly as it was nearly 10-15 years ago.
The needle hasn't moved one inch, on the contrary, it has probably gone backwards.

Civ IV is Ultra Fast on today's hardware PC's, 360x140 would be loaded easily.
