Would FFH work if installed this way...? [Mac related]

Long story short: Could FFH be successfully installed by putting all of the necessary installation files in some kind of a compressed file (instead of an EXE, namely 2009_05_16_FallfromHeaven2041n.exe), and then extracting those files into the appropriate folders? If so...could someone please make that compressed file, and offer it for upload someplace? (If it wouldn't work, please tell me...I'll be disappointed, but understand. )

Long story: I have the PC Steam version of Civ4 BTS on my mac. (It's running through Crossover Games, which is based off of Wine - It's not running through Bootcamp [mainly b/c I don't have a spare copy of Windows].) However, this is still a PC version of Civ 4 BTS - just without Windows. :p

I'd like to run FFH, if at all possible. However, Crossover doesn't want to successfully run 2009_05_16_FallfromHeaven2041n.exe. [If requested, I can describe the problem in detail. For now, let me just say that the installer shows some sort of a progress bar that reaches about halfway...I see an image of a skeleton-horseman...and then the FFH installer quits with an error message. Unfortunately, the problem isn't that I'm installing to the wrong directory.]

So, as I said above: could I install FFH if I was just given the appropriate files in a compressed directory, and put them in the Mods folder (or anywhere else they needed to go)? Or does FFH interact with windows (say, with the registry), meaning this approach wouldn't work, and only Bootcamp would work for me & my Mac?

Try using 7zip or if you can't p7zip to extract the exe file.

I've installed the fall from heaven patch with WINE, if the extract thing doesn't work try that instead of crossover.

Edit: You'll have to dig up which winetricks make civ BtS work, its been a long time since I did that.
