(XML Mod) counties and states

this little mod i thought up last night was quite good and when i was lookin at the xml text yesterday it looked simple to make

so this mod will turn town names into counties

eg
glouster will become glostershire
and so on

if all goes well i will do american states

and a couple of questions (Yes im new to modding)

1.is there nay tool i need for xml editing
2. has this mod been done?
3. if i have wrong fourm plz move it to new one
4. and thats it

Good idea but don't make threads here until you have a working mod component. Becasue it might never be done if it doesn't work or that you don't have the energy to compleate it.

I use notepad++ for xml and python editing.

dont worry i intend on finshing it
o and were would you insatll the xml files when there done

little help ive changed the names to what i want them to
but they show up as

TXT KEY LONDON TXT KEY

You must also make the appropriate changes of your names in the associated text files. I do not remember off hand which text file this is in but you can look through them and should find the former names.
