XML SOLUTION - Quits On XML initialiazation without any further message

I found myself another solution for all you folkes....

The story...

I was out of my house for a couple of days but took my workpad t41 with me, and tried to play civ4,i stumbeled on the blackscreen and got it solved...(see my thread)

Now I got home plugged in my pheripials onto my notebook.... and...
no go :S it exited on XML Initialization, whatever i did whenever i did....

then i decided to UNPLUG my SB LIVE 24-bit External USB soundcard....
and fell back on my onboard SOUNDMAX... and BINGO!!!

So to solve this XML error, please update all your SOUNDBLASTER drivers
it has to do with your SOUNDCARD!!!!!

Weird i have onboard SOUNDMAX audio and still getting those errors!

and yes, i have the latest audio driver installed...

Try disabling the Voice recording devices (or set them to use the onboard device, not the soundcard one).
