You have selected an unusable capturing device. Voice capture disabled

Pretty much the title said it all. Ever since i installed it on my new computer everytime i start civ4 i get it:

You have selected an unusable capturing device. Voice capture disabled

and i have ot press OK 4-5 times before it goes slowly fades away. what can i do?

Hi. I have just joined after getting Civ IV Colonization. I am getting that message : "Invalid Device - You have selected an unusable voice capture device"
I saw another letter about the same thing but I couldn't find an answer so could someone please tell me how this is rectified. Thanks.
