when I play I don't feel like theres enough time to use units before they are obsoleted by newer technologies. The game basically flies through without the chance to enjoy any one period of time. I tried playing on marathon to combat this but that also makes it take ten times longer to create...
i use the link and get the right screen that says total realism and everything seems to be working but when i get in the game its the exact original gameplay.
i do plan on getting warlords within the next few months.
i loaded the mod up and total realism was in the corner but once i got into the game i noticed the game was no different. how do you know for sure the mod is loaded correctly? and how might i fix my problem?
i've tried loading up 10 years in advance but everytime it gets to 1847 and i end my turn it goes to waiting for other players with the little spinning hourglass and stays like that. i can move around the map and click different menus but nothing ever happens. anything i can do or is this game...
i was talking to my friend today about how 2 was so great. you could put these things in ships and do all kinds of things. this game is really limited. they also had guerilla unit
could someone help me step by step with installing this mod? i thought i had it correct but the mod is not working. i am very noob with doing this stuff but i put it in the revolution folder. its all very confusing to me.
i would love to play with these. if there isn't one my vision is somehting like this.

ill put cottages only if its a city with alot of food and i need money. if im booming with money ill only put cottages near my smaller cities and use farms. i also use alot of workshops late in the game (i think its state property that takes their penalty away) in cities with alot of food but...
i have the three gorges dam which provides power to all cities on the continent but what exactly does power do. it doesnt seem clear in this years game. If i have the dam would it be pointless to build a nuclear plant in a city? is nuclear power stronger than hydro and hydro stronger than coal?
some of my cities have plenty of grassland and plains but i just cant build farms. there is no message on why i cant but i cant. i have civil service and can build farms near most of my cities. does a tile have to be connected to water to farm it?
there were so many important things that have been left out since civ 2.
-the real life videos of wonders were great.
-freight and camel caravans was genius.
-if a civ had most of its cities in disorder for x # of turns a civil war would break it into 2 different civs.
