I went by the guide.

Chicken who's betting the tired joke about voting on every options going to be rolled out again so we can treat it with the same derision we did the last time, and pretend it was funny the 40th time.

Guys get a new joke, no ones laughing, except at you.

Toto by Africa.

 yeah, it's hard to eat babies, eh? :)

Yeah, that's the big problem. Especially since you see so many of them around here. Jumping around, bleating like they don't have a care in the world.

That said, if I didn't eat them, sheep may take over the world. It's probably my duty as a human being to eat them.

Sorry, Kan, but duck is delicious! Muscovy duck and Aylesbury particularly. Don't worry, I only eat it a couple of times a year, and buying from a local organic free-range farm, so they've had happy lives wandering around nibbling grass and stabbing worms and so on. You're safe from me - you're too big to eat even if I cleared out the whole freezer in preparation :mischief:

Crocodile is the only one I'm not familiar with.

However, I was disappointed to see venison omitted from the options, as that is quite tasty.

I'm not denying that duck doesn't taste lovely as well. But still!

Edit: I'm also clarifying that, unless I came off as really odd in the London meet-up, I'm not a duck.

Ducks arnt that cute. Not anything like as cute as lambs. Or calves come to that.

Ducks good, but chicken is easier to cook and it falls off the bone. If you have an hour duck, if you have 30 minutes chicken.

Buffalo meat. Not silly cows, a big ole' buffalo is the meat for me.

Lamb is great!
Beef is close second
Horse meat is also great but dry.

Well, I'm into Slow Food. :p Duck is better quality and more intense: if you just want some meat scraps to put into noodles, chicken is fine, but otherwise I usually find it a bit disappointing compared to duck.

Kan: I know you're not a duck, but your avvie is one, and, well, it seemed funny at the time I made the post ...

EDIT: Actually, having read the Wiki on slow food, I'm only slightly into it. I'm more against fast food than for the whole Slow-Food ethos: I just think that it's better to get organic, local, free-range, fresh, home-cooked food than fast food. I agree with some of their principles. I get those quality (see above qualifiers) foods whenever I can, although as a student I have to make some sacrifices to save money. I love cooking my own food, and will quite happily spend half a day in the kitchen to make something delicious. :D :yumyum:

BTW if the chicken meat falls off the bone then your chicken is cooked too much.

Are there enough buffallos to eat?

Seriously I'm probably going to be eating mainly Reform Cookery from now on, so no meat for me. Plenty of HOVIS and delicious nut meat though!

Chicken, tastes good, high protein, low fat, perfect for muscle building.

Why the heck isn't seafood a choice Abbadon!

My favorite meat is seafood, probably scallops and oysters. From the poll options it would be either crocodile or salami, no joke.
