thx for this great tool ;)
I'm just wondering if it is/ or will be possible to enlarge the available grid in future releases, so that the techtree won't become so clustered once I add more techs.
It's a Bug (or Feature ;) http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=386183
"Delete the three .ini files located in "My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5" and the .db files modified after the installation (except Civ5CoreDatabase.db) in "My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's...
If you edit the files in your Civ 5\Assets\Gameplay\XML\Buildings folder then you should make a backup before altering them.
Afaik it would be enough to open CIV5Buildings.xml and search for
<Row>
<BuildingType>BUILDING_MARKET</BuildingType>...
Is it possible that the Great Wall is getting obsolete by Metallurgy ? I edited some XML today and wondered about this line <ObsoleteTech>TECH_METALLURGY</ObsoleteTech> under the Great_Wall description, since the ingame tooltip says nothing about it.

Just wait till the puppets begin to build buildings that use up strategic ressources like coal or uranium, and you've no way to stop them, or to get those resources back.
Just who was the developer noob that came up with this idea :mischief:
I always asked myself, just who actually wants a AI that tries to win like a Human Player would ? If I want inscrutable opponents that try to backstab me without chance for me to see it coming, then i would play Multiplayer to begin with.
AI that tries to mimic a player is bound to fail...

Nonetheless, i'm shocked how demanding this game is on the graphics, didn't expected that it would bring my (not sooo old) GTX260 to it's knees.
no, you dont miss anything - even if you buy the game in a retail store you could throw away the DvDs anytime once you've activated the cd key in steam
Like in every Civ game the game will stop counting your Points for the Highscore when a Player achieves a Victory, "Ending the game" so to say. But the game will give you the choice to play on infinitely after that.
edit: damn, to late ;p
The whole "AI breaks Research agreements on purpose" explanation always sounded to me like a way to advertise the typical behaviour of a mediocre AI as Feature
Having no Animations in online MP games makes sense.
Not giving the player the options to turn them on for LAN games with friends etc. , where time isn't much of an issue, not.
So while i wont cancel my preorder, I'm hoping this will be adressed quickly in the next patch, else see no...
