I understand that the Aztecs gain culture with each kill from their special unit, but why am I seeing the same when any civilization kills a barbarian unit?
I have a surplus of iron which all comes from a city-state. I am unable to purchase an upgrade on my warriors, but I'm at least able to build swordsmen now. I don't believe I have this upgrade problem when using resources I obtain on my own though. Is this a bug or a new game design I'm unaware of?
I wondering if anyone can clear up my confusion on the Incan special improvement (forgot what they're called) that they can build on hills. The tool tip says this improvement adds 1 food to the hill and the squares around it, correct? I'm not seeing this reflected in the game. As it is, the...
Ah, I know Thal said he was taking a break from modding but he has quietly updated to 6.1. Gonna go test it out. I'm sure it must work since the update specifically stated a fix to a critical error in the building pop-up.
To be more specific. The choose production button on the bottom right of the screen as well as the choose production button within the city screen are unresponsive. Suppose I'll take a nap and catch some NCAA tournament action until Thal or someone else is able to solve this problem. Thanks for...
I'm also experiencing a big issue in version 6. I can't choose anything to build in my first city. Therefore, I remain on turn one. Too bad I erased 5.7 which was working fine for me.:(
I've also noticed that the AI is way too friendly with the newest balance mod. Maybe the new patch made undocumented changes to AI diplomacy. I'm going to disable WWGD as well.
Ok, makes sense. I've also noticed that the workshop was switched to a 20% overall production increase. The windmill has been changed to adding 40% building production for cities on flat land. In my opinion that percentage seems high and unfairly penalizes cities built on hills. Is this also in...
Unit maintenance costs have really been scaled back in the latest beta. Was this by design or is it a bug? I liked how it used to be a challenge to afford large armies.
I'm using the newest beta and I've encountered a problem. Research agreements provide no research benefit at all. Both civilizations almost certainly have discovered philosophy and are friends. Other mods I'm using: civ willard, info addict, specialized barbarian units. I also experienced a bug...
@Txruce I think I've found the mod info file but I'm unable to open it. Do I need a program to open it with because windows doesn't recognize the file type. Also, how do I save a game to steam? Do I just transfer a saved game over to steam somehow? I know this is probably simple stuff so thanks...
