I'm going to assume that even if Gamestop did a midnight release or if you were able to snag a copy of the game at midnight on the 20th that the game would still be unplayable until it unlocked later in the day?

I can hardly plan Civ4 just because it looks horrible in 3d. Are there any mods that make it a little more pleasant? I miss the 2d graphics.

Would it be possible to use old civ2 graphics for the units as placeholders in-game?

Are there any mods that heavily add to the UN relations and other non-warfare elements of the game yet? or do we have to wait for the SDK for that kind of stuff?

I've walked away from Civilization IV after a month of it's release. I swore to wait till decent mods and patches had worked it into something fun. Is the SDK available yet? Has there been a decent UN mod made yet? How are the mods for this game progressing? or is that real mods must wait...

OMG! Can't even get the patch right. Those who downloaded it will have to uninstall it becauses its bugged. :goodjob:

We still continue to Beta test the game, while they are still waiting to release a patch that was suppose to come out a week ago. Nice. :goodjob:

It seem's the game is still pretty bug ridden. It will most certainly need to be patched within two weeks. I will wait to play the game until its first patch comes out. I don't want stupid bugs to ruin my first gameplay expereince with the game.

If anyone gets it in the morning, will you continue to post screenshots and your opionions all day for us people at work? I'm just going to be bored at work till 5.

If no one has it by 5PM its pretty safe to say no one will get it today. Tommorow lots of people will though.

What are some local stores that are known to probably carry Civ4. I know Wal-mart and Staples should have it eventually. Maybe Shopco. Gamespot for sure. Kmart never has squat.

Can we get it set back to say that it's released Tommorrow. It appears the game has not even shipped yet. It's depressing everyone. :p
