"Hello and welcome back to the State News Service broadcast. Recent reports have indicated anti-government protests and uprisings in the southern provinces. The Primaire has refused to comment on this, and has placed an interdiction on all travel to the southern provinces. The Government has asked that you all stay out of trouble while it deals with the dissentionists that want to tear our Glorious nation apart. We'll keep you updated as more comes in.
We now move to news of a new possible treatment for..."

Primaire George Vinta sat at his large mahogany desk, asking himself
why the darn dissidents had chosen NOW of all times to act up. What with the recent destruction of the Lower Three, there couldn't be any worse time. To make matters... well... worse, the dissidents had begun to break into government offices and steal arms, ammuntion, and government papers. It was bad, very bad. Then General Haisin rushed in. "Primaire, we have paratroopers on the runway and prepared to subdue the dissidents. Shall I launch them?"
What a good question, thought the Primaire.
To be, or not to be? That is the question. He smiled despite the somber atmosphere. After all, it wasn't every day Hamlet invaded his thoughts.
Should I send the Army in to quell the illegal uprisings, or should I try to talk first? I dont want to hurt my citizens, yet they dont understand what is for their own good. Remove the government, and see how long we would last against the enemies that seek to destroy us at every turn? What then? Is it nobler to give people more freedoms, or to protect them from the enemy? I dont know.
"Primaire? I need an answer."
"Oh, go ahead. Just try to keep casualties low."
"Yes, sir." The General rushed out the room. George decided to do some reading to pass the time, so he picked up a book. It was entitled
The Arab Spring...

Jaime d'Ourvae stood outside her schoolbuilding as she watched the mysterious circles blossom in the sky. They looked like giant white circles, floating majestically down to Earth. Of course, if she had been older than three years of age she would have known that they were paratroopers. And that she shouldn't run up to the first one to land, and not say anything until she was right behind him. But she was only three, and didn't know that. Just like the man who put the bullet through her head didn't know she was three until he looked at the crumpled little body lying on the ground before him. But it mattered little to him. Just another enemy, another kill to add to his list. He moved towards the schoolhouse. If Jaime could still have heard, she would have heard lots of screaming. And the scribbling of a kill count on bloody paper.

Leon Haisha looked up at the podium upon which Basil Haugenotaie, the Revolutionary Hero, stood. The murmur of the crowd ceased as soon as Basil opened his mouth.
"People of Kongo! True heirs to this land! I bring sad, terrible news. The Illegal Government that has lorded their Marxist ideology above us for so long has dropped paratroopers into the major cities of the Rebellion. Not only that, but the soldiers have proved rabid killing machines! They murderd innocent children and teachers inside of the schoolhouses where they were learining arithmetic and history! This is not the Kongo I want to inhabit, is it yours?"
NO!
"We cannot let the regime that has opressed us do so any longer! Down with the government, up with freedom!"
YEAH!!!!!! *Cheering*
~~~~~
Primaire Vinta stared in shock at the helmet cam footage from his paratroopers.
What have I DONE? Then, sounds of a struggle and gunshots came from outside his office. He got up, and rushed to open the doors. They opened on him first to reveal an assassin dressed all in black, and with a pistol in his steady hands.
"Hello, Mr. Primaire."
*BANG*
The television slowly cleared of static to reveal the counternance of Basil. "The Revolution is over, the government has been toppled! I declare the following constituition enacted, and form the United Kongo Republic! Let the Marxist Democratic Republic demean us no more!
Justice, Détermination, Courage!"
United Kongo Republic
"Unis Kongo République"
Motto: Justice, Détermination, Courage! (Justice, Determination, Valor!)
Capital: Kinshasa
Government: Democratic
National Power: Industrious
Government Structure: The Central Government is in charge of administration of Kongo lands, foreign policy, internal policy, etc. The government has two branches, the Judicial and Administrative.
Judicial
The Judicial Branch has courts for each Judicial District (the provinces on the map), functioning as courts for local issues. If an issue is of national concern, it goes to the Supreme Judicial Authority. The SJA will then make a determination based on all evidence presented, which will be treated as law unless the Administrative branch passes a specific law refuting said decision.
Administrative
The Administrative Branch is the Supreme Legislative Authority. Each Judicial District elects a councilman to the SLA, which makes the laws of the nation. Localities also elect Local Legislative Authorities, which can be overriden by the SLA.
The SLA also elects one of its members to the position of Director of the Authority, commonly reffered to as just Director, who is in charge of leading SLA discussions. The Director is also the Head of State.
