Has anyone else experienced the game randomly freezing on them since the patch came out?

A second question is there anywhere else to look for errors from crashes besides the lua and database logs? I have logging enabled but oftentimes when the game freezes those two logs don't tell me anything.

I'm assuming that since this is posted in the C&C forums that you're experiencing the crashes whilst trying to run mods?
I guess you could try running the mods through j_mie's XML checker...

Yes I should have clarified that it was with mods. Many, many mods so some kind of checker would be most appreciated.
Edit: Unfortunatly when I try to run it I get "a Java Exception has occurred".

Disable ALL mods, then re enable them 1 by 1 until ya find the offending error again. That narrows it down to a specific mod which, You can either see if the original author has a fix, or can fix said mod, OR, you can try fixing it yourself and or asking here again
