Not much of a screenshot I know. But I made 4 buildings from Google 3d Warehouse. They are not exactly the same because I wanted to use them for my Rapture mod later. Anyway below are the links.

The Potala Palace and Herod's Temple have a high polycount. Herod's Temple was around 66000 from Google 3d warehouse before and I brought it down to 3800.

Anyway just to let people know if they are interested in them.

I will give a quick look, but I am completely redid each texture for these above and took a while especially for the Potala Palace.

Herod's Temple is absolutely stunning, and the Tomb is useful to me too. Too bad Herod's is such a big nif file and there's no below ground level support structure.

Thanks. I am thinking of maybe still doing some work on them. The textures could look better for Tiananmen Gate for sure.

Ekmek I am using max.

P.S.
Yes I know the placing is off in the artdefines in my example. I did not change anything in the xml yet. Just testing to see how they look in game.

The buildings do not look just right to me. So that is why they are here sort of as well. So people can see the results ahead of time, and if they want to work with them to know where they are at.

As for the request. I am not really planning on doing any except what I need to finish my mod component. Besides that I am not really much at doing these yet, just learning as I go along. Maybe someone else will see them here and can help. If you find a religious building though it might help me as well for my component.

I found a bunch of mormon curches. IIRC you have mormonism in there. Salt Lake City Temple should be their shrine

We are not planning it with the very first ones now. I mean faichele has done most of the schism code for Rapture, and we am limiting the Christian denominations to 5 to begin with. But later we may add some more.

Just want to get something working out the door first. The first 5 we have in mind now are Catholic, Orthodox, Nestorian, Coptic, and Protestant. But we may do it later.

Just trying to give the rest of the denominations that we have already done a shrine I mean. So the art could be used for stand alone religions without our new code or be denominations with the new code in the WoC.

I should give this link. I have reskins of all of the other buildings already and reskins of the shrines now, but wanted something more unique I mean for the shrines. Well that is what I have in mind for now. Later yes thinking about more. I have a whole bunch of pagan stuff I want to do after setting this up which we already started code on.

Your problem is probably that you didn't select all the meshes before exporting to nif. Try CTRL-A. Could be that the shortcut is different though, as I said I don't work with Blender.
Unfortunately, I don't think it will be that easy. I mean, it could be that you create a nif that you can include nto your mod, but it will contain pretty much polies and and large textures. You'll have to work on uv mapping for example. Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. And I don't know about any tutorial. All I could do is give you a tutorial Refar wrote once about doing this with 3dsmax. He mentions that things are similar in Blender, but the workflow is different. Still, it might give you an idea about the basic things...

Yeah, CTRL-A definetly exported everything to view as a nif. :banana:Shows up in the game too though, but without the textures. The buildings came with textures files broken up into indivdual files. I'll have to work on that. It seems as though civ files many dds files, but not sure how to work with those if unwraped textures are not even numbers. Also, the building became a huge super building landmass in the game! :wow:
