Rant: My AP Calculus class has reached the long way for how to calculate tangent lines. I know that the power rule is a shorter way of doing it, and know a bit about how it works, I'm just not able to actually use it, or one of those other weird calculusy shortcuts, yet.

Math, why can't you just teach me the shortcuts to begin with instead of making me do things the long way for a week first?

I'm not sure either. If they just taught us the power rule, and othe other nice rules, I wouldn't have been so confused initialy.

Rant 2: It took me this long to learn that.

Rant 3: I now have to delete that Frasier reference I made in the raves thread, because I so passionately hate Repubs.

Don't hate a show because of an actor's political angle. Hell, don't hate the actor for that.

I loved West Wing even though it was a democrat party mouth piece show basically. IT was still very well done and the actors were (besides Lowe) outstanding.

I could have sworn he was, I remember watching some of West Wing in AP Gov and seeing Alan Alda in it.
