I was playing a game as the Ottomans, built some Janissarys to form a corp/army and noticed that if you select the unit with more promotions(in my case a 5 promotion unit) and told it to merge into the unit with no/1 promotions, my 5 vet troop merged into the no vet/1 promotion troop and lost all its experience. If i did it in reverse, taking the no vet/1 pro troop and merged into the 5 promotion troop, it worked fine. I kept all the experience.
This seemed to be the only unit i had trouble with. All my other units merged properly.
