Best modmod for multiplayer with good ai?

I want to play a game where me and my friend are actually matched by the ai, it's just always so easy. Where should I look? I've sampled most of them but not enough to know which one I need.

The spousal unit and I enjoy MNAI for an eventual team/up beatdown of the AI. If you are going to play serious multiplayer where the AI takes a back seat, then go for EiTB.

EitB is designed for balance in a MP context.
While some of this deals with PvP, many of the principles that are wanted in an P+PvAI are still included (stuff like cheaper tech, human basium, strength of different strategies (arcane)).
I've only played MP in a no inter player war context, so I am speaking from experience.

Are you actually playing at deity difficulty and still finding it just too easy? If not you may want to bump up the difficulty.
