Submerged tree in the Green Lake. The Green Lake or Grüner See is a lake in Austria that dries out almost completely during fall, is used as a county park in the winter and is famous for the underwater park which forms during the spring due to the snow meltdown.
 


More than 200,000 people entered Cairo’s central Tahrir Square on Tuesday night to protest a constitutional decree issued last week by Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi that gives him near total power over Egyptian affairs and protects the Islamist-dominated assembly writing the country's new constitution.

They say this cat is a species called Oncilla, but he sure looks oddly familiar to us.

These super-rare cats are a bit smaller than a house cat and live in Central and South America. They are also super freaking cute.

The photo was taken by the Wildlife Conservation Society in Bolivia's Madidi National Park, and has won a BBC Wildlife camera-trap photo competition, in the New Discoveries category. Before being caught in the camera trap, officials didn't know the cat lived in the park.
