We stopped invading you centuries ago when we found out that Sweden was a better target (pretty girls). You on the other hand invaded us three times in less than 90 years. Last time my grand father was in the resistance.
Yeah, better stop invading when you check the one your aiming at is already too mighty to get invaded? But Sweden was not much of a better choice if I rememver right?
This is pretty much of a braver viking, is it?
Concerning pretty girls I agree! I'd also search them In Sweden rather than in Denmarck :p

Nah, but when I find out whether I like a country, it's history of course plays in since Im very interested in history.
Agree, I also mainly dislike the nation who had kicked our a**es during the history. Strange enough :D

I actually like what Mozart used your language to, but generally I think it's an ugly language. Not that Danish is much better though.
You know Mozart was a Austrian? If you consider THIS German you'll may forgive everyone mixing up Danish with Kisuaheli ;)

Ole is a name, I don't follow you here?
Sorry, isn't the Danish eypression for beer something similar? But I may be wrong.
storealex said:

Sorry. But wrong! You're from Denmark. SWEDEN has the pretty girls! Everyone knows _THAT_!

Don't know never been there. The Germans I have met are often nice and sometimes are rude but I think its more of a culture shock. My mother runs a backpackers and I've met alot of Germans and their favourite saying seems to be "Back home in Germany" which can often rub people up the wrong way as they think they're complaining.

One of the most annoying people I have ever met was a German tourist who was over here. Basically she demanded constant attention and people were giving her free food, accomadation, and someone also took her out diving with whales. Afterwards she would complain about everything. I let here stay in our spare room for a couple of weeks and she complained of being bored as I didn't take time off work to be with her and she would complain when we took her out to the pubs as well. Very tiresome.

The next year though I worked with a nice German couple and the guy was really cool. We gave him alot of crap at work like Hitler salutes just to hear him say "not funny" in his accent. Went out on the bender a few time with him as well. Most Germans seem nice.

We teased him he was the only German in the world with a sense of humour. We also stopped doing it but he didn't mind to much as it made hime "one of the guys". You should hear what we say to each other about our mothers/sisters or whatever. To survive in our social group you need thick skin (armor plated even).

Of course I like Germany cause my ancestry is about 90% German with some Austrian blood

Well Schrodinger and Einstein were both Austrian, the calibre of that country or Germany are not in question. The fact that you missed the joke maybe is ;) It's light ribbing take it on the chin, it's what us Brits do, it's not meant as a political insight, just as a little bit or butt of a joke :)

...the history... well.. it seems like it's a German tradition to invade my country...

Seriously, which country neighbouring Germany has been not invaded by the Germans? :mischief: ;)

(Switzerland, maybe?)

Interesting point but war wise look at Englands record, switzerland is the only country in Europe we havent declared war on, world wide there are very few countries we haven't been at war with. Slightly irrelevant but it's kind of interesting :)

Not maybe, they made good profit from the Nazis.
And vice versa, that's why. They were useful for banking.

Now that you mention it again, how exactly was Einstein Austrian? He was born in Ulm, which is in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany (right on the border with Bavaria, my map indicates.) At the time it was part of the German Empire.

Well well, This joke indeed is very close to the butt :p

Besides I hardly ever claimed for Einstein or Schrödiner.
Also not for Mozart who was Austrain to.
Bethoven or Schubert ist anyway more than enough-
Otto Hahn, not as famous but even more important. Do you seriously think Amstrong would have been on the mood without von Braun?

Ok, those who think German girls are ugly have obviously never been to Hamburg.:D or seen the picture in post #42.

Of course Swedish girls are amazing. The further you go north, the more beautiful. ;)

OK, that just reinforces my point :) Anyway Einstein was a Jew I hear that pretty much defines his nationality more than his birth:)

Forget to blame us about this freak from AUSTRIA!

And besides. Join the socialisic forces and fight the neolib-conspiracy.

Völker hört die Signale,

erkämpft das Menschenrecht!
Now, now, I was joking :p

We're all European, I just ccan't resist the occasion for a bit of fraternal teasing.

(BTW, I've got the Internationale in my sig, so I dunno why you think I'm a neolib?)

To be honest, I jsut wanted to post pictures of Hitler with big muscles.

To quote Einsten:

"If my theories prove correct, Germany will say I am German, and France will declare me a citizen of the world.
If they prove wrong, France will declare me a German, and Germany will say I am a Jew".
