This was briefly mentioned in someone else's post but not supported. So, here you go:
Description of problem - AI civ's ship collides with player's unseen submarine. AI declares war on player.
Steps to reproduce - two saved game files attached. When attempting to recreate situation, I placed my sub in wrong tile. Turn cycled through and no collision, no war. Second file, collision and war. Proves war was result of collision.
Observed result - war declared
Expected result Rome should continue to be a subservient member of the greater Celtic domination sphere.
This happened twice in this game. First was with the Dutch.
I remember this was an issue that was fixed way back with one of the Vanilla patches. Note if you view both of these files -- I zipped through a lot of the units and left them as they stood so viewing the turn may be a little different.
