Earth and starting positions

Is there a Earth map with correct country starting positions with the new patch?

too early for that roalan. remember, the patch hasn't been up for more than a day. give it a week. maybe someone will come up with good 1.29patch suggestions to say - Marla Singer's World Map. That one's pretty accurate.

open the editor

choose "new"

choose import (File menu)

choose map

choose "earth (huge)" or "earth (standard)" from the scenarios subfolder.

set player startign locations as you think fit.

save as scenario

play scenario

presto!

Except those earth-maps are pathetically inaccurate and dumb.
I, as a geography-lover, could never bring myself to use them

Most of the earth maps I've seen have been to big for my liking. This comp doesn't take any map above standard to well. Anyone going to make one that is standard size? Or below? Or do they not work well?
