Mafia game: The War of the Princes (1407-1435)

In the middle of the Hundred Years war, the French king Charles VI has gone mad. After the assassination of Louis d'Orléans by Jean "Sans Peur" (John the Fearless), two rival factions, the Armagnacs (fidels to the "Dauphin", ie the oldest son of the French King, Charles VII) - and the Bourguignons (fidels to the Duke of Bourgogne, John the Fearless, who was part of the French royal family, being a descending of Jean II of France)- are trying to sieze power at the French court, while the mad King Charles VI is left to comtemplate his own doom. The English king Henry IV, who also wants to hold the French crown, will take any chance the situation might provide him with.

Game Rules:

Spoiler :

I. Obey the Kingdom of France regulations.

Spoiler :

(A) Adhere to the Forum Rules. This is required.
(B) Follow the rules of the game.

II. Once you say something, it cannot be unsaid.

Spoiler :

(A) Do not edit your posts. If you edit a post, any votes in it are invalid and ignored. Violations could result in being mod-killed.

III. Time is set in stone. You must abide by it.

Spoiler :

(A) This game has 2 phases: Day and Night.
(B) Day is 48 hours, and Night is 24 hours. edit: Day is 24 hours from D6.
(C) Phases will end at 1 am GMT+2 (ie 4pm PST; 7pm EST).
(D) During the day, vote for who you think is part of the Mafia (or fake it if you are part of the mafia!). At the end of the day, the player with the most votes will be yeeted.
(E) During the Night, any and all people with Night actions should PM them to me. Mafiosi will do their dirty business and kill people (No kill isn't allowed here).
(F) We will be using the twilight rule: talk continues for the first hour of night.

IV. Secrets may not be copied.

Spoiler :

(A) You cannot take images of your Role PM, etc. However, you may paraphrase your role.
(B) You may not communicate to anyone outside of the thread unless the host specifically allows you to do so. You may only communicate via the method prescribed.
(C) I, as GM, reserve the right to remove anyone from the game if they try to break these rules.

V. The guilty shall be voted for.

(A) Votes should be cast in the vote: RRRaskolnikov format. Unvotes are not required, though obviously allowed. Unvoting without a new vote counts as Abstain.
(B) Feel free to point out any mistakes in tally you think I've made.
(C) In case of ties at EOD, the first vote during the following 15 minutes breaks it. If no more votes, ties for the lynch will be randomly determined.
(D) A player must be yeeted each day phase. No lynch isn't an option.

VI. Know your role. Use your role.

(A) Everyone will receive a role PM. However, some players will not have a night action from their role.
(B) To use an ability, send me a PM with the required target or input.
(C) You may or may not receive a result PM for your night action.
(D) Below is an example of a Role PM:

VII. Work to achieve victory.

- Eliminate all hostile threats to the peace of the French Kingdom.
(B) Other factions may have different victory conditions.

VIII. A dead player is... dead.

Spoiler :

(A) When you're dead, you may make one BAH! comment. Otherwise, please stay quiet. Do not PM other living players (about the game).
(B) Do not like posts between your death and the endgame.
(C) Dead players will receive a QT link.

IX. Don't get replaced.

Spoiler :

(A) I will replace inactive players as I see fit. This is all left to the host's discretion.
(B) If you wish to be replaced, let me know by PM, and I will try to find you a replacement.
(C) Please be active. It kills the experience of the other players if you're not. This means a post and a vote for each day phase, minimum.
(D) If RL interferes during the game, PM me or make a short announcement in the game thread using the [OOC][/OOC] tag (or not, but make it clear this post isn’t you playing)

X. The GM can pass laws anytime he wishes.

(A) I reserve the right to, at any time, change one, some, or all ( ) of these rules simultaneously if I believe that it is necessary to the game.
(B) Hopefully, a rule change is not required. Nevertheless, I will be as fair as possible if one must occur.

Besides Synet's usual recourse to personal aggravation I have to point out that he, Ace Marvel and Timsup2nothin have all failed to correct my 100% intentional misspelling of ‘ponctuation’, so clearly they are not used to writing French. They must be villeins of some sort.
