I think it would be good for Mordor to have Warg riders. Of course that is because I want to play that civ.

Mrtn had a really good idea for a Hobbit worker, actually. But Im not sure if he plans to follow through on it. At this point however we have more to worry about than just a worker. The entire race only has 3 units available to us, shrinking units down is a must. Any idea for which units we can try?
I don't have a very big problem with the pony tails. I do have a problem with that stone-thrower-staff-thingy, though. It may fit perfectly in a Dragonlance mod, but I can't see it in Middle Earth.Originally posted by Kindred72
Just because a couple of my little units have pony tails, doesn't mean you can't use them as hobbits. Either way if you don't, I will certainly add them.
The Swarthy Men apparently never acquired a centralised realm but remained restricted to tribal territories and petty kingdoms, frequently in conflict with each other. But during the War of the Ring their troops appeared remarkably uniform, and it seems that Sauron had finally established a central authority among them. Repeatedly, their dresses and banners were described as scarlet: "wild Southron men with red banners, shouting with harsh tongues " (RK) - "Southrons in scarlet" (RK) - "swarthy men in red" with "scarlet robes" (TT). At least one chieftain of a cavalry unit used the emblem of a "black serpent upon scarlet" (RK) as his standard. Even their tents were "black or sombre red." (RK)
While the Wainrider empire may not have lasted that long, their culture survived throughout the TA. Even as late as the 38th century, their familiar vehicles could be seen: "Out of the East Men were moving endlessly: swordsmen, spearmen, bowmen upon horses, chariots of chieftains and laden wains." (FR)
Look like a great choice to me!Originally posted by mrtn
Mithadan (and others) how about the Huscarl Alpha converted from AoK as a half-orc?
I suggest the French peasant, because the clothing looks a lot more like a Hobbit waistcoat (although I guess farmers don't typically go out working the field in their wastcoats -- even so, with the waistcoat it is really nice and hobbity).Originally posted by mrtn
The idea for a hobbit worker PCH was talking about is to shrink a worker from American Conquest. I prefer the more colourfull french peasant, but the spanish could work too. Which do people prefer?
Not such a bad idea, although I don't know if the animations would be right.Originally posted by the mormegil
What about Spanish peasant for Farmer (worker) and French peasant for that Hobbit Scout thingy?
