(NAB) First contact bug when units in Automove with 1.15b

If this has already been posted 3 times, please just forget it, otherwise, here it goes again:
If a unit of yours is set to automatically explore the maps, such as a galleon,.... and this units comes while it is moving next to an AI city/unit you still have not made contact with, then moves away in the same turn, you will not have made contact, as you would have if your were moving the unit manually,,.. this is a pain since you will then have to take the unit under your control on the next turn and go back to find the unit/city to make contact...
here 's a pic and a save...
as you can see, my ship passed the Iroquois city close enough to see, normally meaning contact would be made, but not this time as it was on automatic mode....

Automatic moves with naval units are a complete pain. Even if you set "wake on friendly units" and "wake on enemy units" (or whatever the entries are called) at the preferences, your ships will just sail by.
So, as soon as you are at war, you literally have to steer your vessels by hand.

It's not really a bug, but just how the game works.
