Sorry, did not knew about this. I have not been to chat lately. I would change, but I do not think any other Asiatic power could intervene in America. Maybe I could be Qing China, but don't know if Nuke would allow it because it would have to develop differently from RL.

Even the Japanese beat the ailing Empire in in the First Sino-Japanese War in 1894-1895. In 1898, the Guangxu Emperor launched a coup against the conservative Empress Dowager Cixi. He initiated a series of reforms, styled after the Meiji restoration in Japan. China, with millions of cheap labor, industrialized fast. During the World War, Qing China sided with the Allies and invaded the US. In 1922, an Expeditionary Force led by Generalissimo Duan Qirui landed on Los Angeles after a fierce bombardment. His orders are to conquer as much of the Western Coast as possible, to be used as an "independent" Chinese Republic populated by Chinese farmers, in order to solve the overpopulation problem of China.

With a powerful navy that had been able to smash the Russian fleets a decade prior, Japan entered the Great War willing to prove its naval hegemony in the Pacific. After years of preparations, skirmishes and few makor naval engagements, Hawai'i fell. In spite of all the fuss about its fall in Washington, to the High Command the archipelago was merely a springboard to invade the American homeland. The bombing of Los Angeles was but a successful diversion, while the actual invasion took place south of the San Francisco Bay Area. In a swift move, Japanese troops pushed through with primitive armor and tankettes, cutting off and, finally, taking San Francisco itself.
Once a secure area around the bay had been secured, the Republic of California was established under Japanese tutelage. This is a fully civilian government, staffed by volunteer Americans and which enjoys a certain degree of autonomy. They are in charge of internal security, economy, justice, development and social services, although Japanese interests supersede Californian policy. Being a key naval base and enclave, overall command of the expedition is on the hands of Admiral Prince Fushimi Hiroyasu, who carefully tries to balance out the army, navy and Californian needs.

Following the collapse of the Provisional Republic's authority after its defeat at Chicago, the Great Plains were thrown into a period of warlordism and chaos. To combat this threat, former government officials and important locals from all over Nebraska gathered in Lancaster in order to decide the future of Nebraska. They talked for days, about who to side with, if to secede, what kind of government to set up, and other things. The answer would come in the form of a man named Bill J. Bryan. All in attendance were taken by surprise when this charismatic, elderly, pastor stepped into the capitol building and, with his oratorical talents, managed to unite the Lancaster Committee behind him and in the defense of democracy.

In 1904, Mexico held a secret referendum and with a 74.2% support with a 99% turnout, Mexico declared it's Independence, created a republic and written a constitution which would ban slavery, put anti discrimination laws, a thing like the bill of rights, a Unitarian government, the balance of power (the 3 branches) and a unicameral Parliament with a prime minister. America rejected it and said that Mexico must remain in America and be in a autocrats hand which knows what do Mexicans need. After a bloody war that lasted 15 years (known as the 15 years war) for Mexican independence, Mexico and America both had enough of the war and were tired so they negotiated in 1919 and Mexico got the territory it has today. During the war, Mexicans migrated to Texas, South California, New Mexico and Arizona. The population of Mexicans in those states reached from 5-30%% to 36-66%. Following the collapse of America and the end of the 3 years truce between Mexico and America, Mexico wants to re unite all Mexicans under one rule. Mexicans, UNITE!

The government has a unicameral Parliament with a prime minister and an elected president. The rule is simple: The one with the most votes wins even if it's under 50% (FPTP). There is currently 113 seats. Mexico is very liberal due to their rule under autocrats. All parties must support democracy and must be anti racist and secular and failure would lead to a ban which the courts decides. Here are the parties that have representation in the Parliament
Reactionary Party: A reactionary party. The court is reviewing whether or not should it be banned as the party wants to create an autocracy, have the dictator rule over properties and peoples lives, put segregationist laws and wants to make Catholicism the official religion. Has 2 seats.
Conservative Party: A right- center right party. Believes that segregation is acceptable as long as they are equal in quality. Corporations love them and fund them hence, they are very successful and rich party. Advertising is not a problem due to the large money they have.
Centrist Union: The centrists. Considers itself the crossbenchers
The Lefts Alliance party: The center left- far lefts. with most of them being socialist. Forms the government and the president is from this party and he's a socialist.
Communist Party: The communists. The court is reviewing whether or not should it be banned as the party wants to create a proletariat dictatorship, nationalize industries and make Atheism the official religion.

Your PoD (for this timeline) is 1915. Somehow, the war ends in 1919, and we're to expect that there's a sudden deluge of Mexicans out of Mexico into the Deep South? OTL Great Migration didn't lead to a massive demographic shift of this size this quickly.
Furthermore, your base of operations isn't included in your territory.
